The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), who had conducted the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), declared the UGC-NET 2018 result today evening. The examination was conducted on 8 July.
The results have been declared on the official CBSE website cbseresults.nic.in. For this year's exam, around 11.48 lakh candidates took the NET across 91 cities. The exam was conducted in 84 subjects.
For the first time in the UGC-NET exam history, the CBSE is going to release the results within the same month of conducting the examination. Earlier, the UGC-NET used to be declared by the CBSE after three to four months of holding the exam.
From the next year onwards, the UGC-NET exam would be conducted by the newly-formed National Testing Agency (NTA).
How to check the CBSE UGC-NET 2018 Result ?
1. Visit the official CBSE website cbseresults.nic.in or cbsenet.nic.in.
2. Click on the 'CBSE - UGC NET Examination - July 2018' link.
3. Enter your application number, roll number and date of birth in the respective fields.
4. Click on 'Submit'.
