Gauhati University has released a notification for the recruitment of 10 Senior Project Associate (SPA),  Project Associate-I (PA-I) and  Field Worker (FW) (Temporary) vacancy for 2 years in the DST-NMHSE funded project titled “Climate Change and Sustainability of Agricultural practices and Livelihoods in the Eastern Himalaya: Case Studies in Northeastern Region of India” under the guidance of Dr. Ratul Mahanta, Principal Investigator and Professor, Department of Economics. Gauhati University Recruitment 2021

1. Senior Project Associate (SPA)
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Environmental Science/Economics or Masters in Environmental Sciences/Environment Management/Economics with 4 years research Experience(NET/GATE qualified). Candidates having Knowledge in remote sensing is preferable.

Pay: Rs.42,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%

2. Project Associate-I (PA-I)
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Economics/Geography/Veterinary sciences/Agriculture sciences with GATE/NET.

Pay: Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%

3. Field Worker (FW)
No of posts: 6

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.

Pay: Rs. 18,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
